Marc is President of The Caspian Group LLC, a boutique consultancy founded in 2016. He previously co-founded and served as President of the Cascadia Consulting Group from 1993-2015. With over 35 years of experience, Marc provides strategy, facilitation, and management consulting services in the fields of clean energy, climate change, resource conservation, and sustainability. He has worked at the international, federal, state, and local levels for government, non-profit, foundation, and private clients. His work developing climate action and sustainability strategies has included how the built environment can contribute to emission reduction and other environmental goals. Marc recently assisted Governor Inslee’s Policy Office develop a “roadmap” to maximize federal funding from the IRA, IIJA, and CHIPS & Science Act to achieve Washington’s climate, clean energy, and equity goals. The roadmap included recommendations for state funding as match and funding for programs to engage, inform, and assist state agencies and stakeholders obtain federal resources. Marc has a Masters in Public and Private Management from Yale University and a BA in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin College.
