Blake is the manager of the Codes and Standards section with the Oregon Department of Energy, and is the lead for the agency’s role in administering product efficiency standards, Building Performance Standards, and supporting the Oregon energy code, among other policies and programs. Prior to his current role, Blake served as a Facilities Engineer with ODOE providing technical expertise across ODOE programs. Blake is a licensed mechanical engineer in Oregon, and his career has included work as a consulting design engineer as well as serving as an energy manager for a large industrial manufacturer. Blake also works with public agencies in Oregon to assist with energy efficiency for new facility design and retrofits and to track and reduce energy consumption. Blake has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
