Josie Hart is the Associate Director of Farm Programs and has been with The Denver Botanic Gardens for 18 years as an educator, farmer, program manager and cut-flower specialist with a passion for food security and equity. Hart oversees the strategic partnerships, funding and program development for the agriculture related programs at Chatfield Farms. Since its inception three years ago, Josie has spearheaded the planning and implementation of the five-acre Chatfield Farms Solar Garden project and will be overseeing the project as it progresses from sustainable energy to food access to showcasing how sustainable energy and farming can help solve some of today’s biggest challenges.

ESG reporting is going through a much-needed re-examination in light of the necessity to show real and quantifiable progress in the area of energy performance and carbon emission reductions.
