Sharon Jaye

Dr. Sharon Jaye is the Energize Denver Building Performance Policy Manager for Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency. She manages the team that is implementing the building performance policy that requires buildings to make energy efficiency improvements by 2030, with Denver being the 5^th city in this country to have this type of legislation. She has more than 20 years of experience in project/facilities management and implementing sustainable operations in public and private K-12 schools and higher education institutions. With degrees in business administration, project management, and educational leadership, she also has IFMA’s Sustainability Facility Professional credential and authored several of IFMA’s sustainability guides on Carbon Footprinting and Waste Management.
